Crying!

I'm not sure if this is a common side effect of the surgery, but for the past few days I have been crying at the drop of a hat! I'm not walking around depressed or anything, just will full on sob at the smallest things! Could this be surgery related?

Shortly after surgery, I got my period. I was emotional the day before. Perhaps it's a hormonal imbalance due to the stress on your body? Good luck, I hope you find an answer.

PS. My doc said that was normal.

Hormones are stored in fat cells... the short answer is YES... this is likely related to surgery, and the release of said hormones from those fat cells you are shrinking. I already lean towards the emotional, so I'm a bit concerned about post-op. Ha! Enjoy the ride, I'm sure it will soon pass.

I went through an emotional phase about 6 weeks out. It was like I questioned whether I had done the right thing with the surgery. But, that has passed and I am now almost 4 months out and happy with my choice and losing 52 pounds!!
