Getting Sleeved This Week

Just 4 more sleeps (lol) until the big day. I am getting really nervous now. Starting my liquid pre-op tomorrow. Any words of wisdom from anyone put there would be great. Thanks

Just 4 more for me as well! I'm super, super nervous!

I am 4 days out and so excited to be on the other side... I prayed a lot and told myself that there truly was more to be scared of if I didn't do something to get my weight under control. All has gone so well my first 5 days and other then nasuea (but no vomiting just a feeling) the first 12 hours because I refused the seasick patch thing- due to 5 days of vertigo side effects it gives me, everything has been fine. Sore in the incision sites but nothing you would not expect. Liquids, proteins all going down fine. Excited for you ... such a long process and big decision to finally get to this day.

I will be 2 weeks out in 3 days. Looking forward to the semi-solid foods. Follow the doctors orders is my best advice. The post-op is painful not gonna lie. I had a major issue trying to take liquid pain meds. May want to ask for morphine drip or patch instead. Will feel like you did 1000 crunches each time you get up. I was over that in about 3 days. Try and walk as soon as you can. Good luck.
