Hi! I was wandering, is it normal when you go to schedule your appointment, for them to ask for a deposit?

I am scheduled with Dr Aceves and was required to put a $500 deposit to hold my place. I have to bring the remainder by cashiers check when I come down there.

I am having surgery with dr Alvarez in 12 days and was required to send $1,000 deposit to hold my spot. I'll bring the rest in a cashiers check.

It depends on your Doctor. I went with Dr Kelly & was not required to send a deposit, just took a cashiers check for the full amount when I went down there!
