I was able to bring home little portion cups they served me in while at hospital. I pour shake in each cup and sip , sip, sip.

I had surgery on 8/1 and was discharged on Thursday. I'm not allowed to try protein shakes until tomorrow. I'm allowed to clear liquid protein drinks like Isopure from GMC or the Vitamin Schoppe. They are more of a juice consistence and 20oz contain 40 grams of protein. They really don't taste bad at all. I would try this before a regular fuller protein shakes. I'm learning it's all about baby steps at this point.

There's no easy way really just slow going. I'm on day 8 postop and it's a whole lot easier. Just stay with it and good luck, it gets easier. :)
