I am also waiting on insurance approval, I know that the Doctors office has sent in everything that I needed. When I talked to my insurance company yesterday they said they had all documents and there is a 3 business day decission period. Hopefully I will hear something by the end of this week. Hope you hear soon.

I think I heard back within a week. I have BCBS. They were pretty quick with everything. Good luck!!

call to let me know if my insurance approved me.

i think its heartless that insurance takes their sweet time to come to a decision

they should put themselves in another mans shoes

for any surgery at all in your life - insurance shouldn't drag their feet between their legs - how would they like the wait for an answer

good luck to you both - and all others who are waiting too for approval

It takes just about forever, doesn't it?

Try and keep busy, it will make the time go faster.

I hope they call you soon!

I have BCBS and heard in a little over a week.

Basically it's the insurance company hedging their bets. They are hoping that you will die before they have to shell out for the surgery. Make sure you WIN at their game! My six months is over, my surgery is Monday. The six months will pass soon enough!

The anxiety of finally getting through the 6 months then waiting on a blood test to see about h-pylori and submitting to insurance was too much for my tummy

I threw up at work and had to come home. My nerves are shot
