Half Way There!

So, for the past few months I have been reading the posts of many sleevers here. Tonight I have decided to start tracking and reporting the changes in my life. I really have a pet peeve about calling this "my weight loss journey" because I fell like a journey is something you do without a goal in mind...I have a goal in mind and I am on more of a mission!! A mission to become active, happy and most of all healthy. Hoping I can meet some folks here that will help keep me on target to complete my mission.

My weight loss mission. That sounds good =) Or maybe My weight loss quest! It sounds like you're doing great =) You've come to the right place for support and friendship.

Lol I don't like it called a journey either for some reason. And I refused to say "I'm getting sleeved" lol makes me feel weird

I totally agree with you on the word "sleeved". I know it's common business practice these days to "verb" nouns. For example, my boss said to me this morning, "You've been tasked with this project and I need you to action it immediately. You've been goaled at 78%.". It drives me crazy for some reason.

So the word "sleeved" makes me bristle as well for this reason.

Lol I feel you. It almost feels.....derogatory? Idk, like im cattle or something. I got branded lol I hate it
