I decided not to worry over stuff I couldn't control. I did as I was told, walked and behaved myself, kept the compression stockings on for 10 days and decided to leave the worrying up tp someone else.

I totally agree...you follow your surgeon's instructions and have faith. Blood clots can happen from riding on a plane or sitting in a car for too many hours without getting up and walking around.

Choose to focus on your surgeon's plan and watch for any warning signs and you will be fine.

Good luck and wishing a speedy recovery!!

Thanks everyone I'm just a worry wort lol thanks for all the positive support to this has truly been a unbelievable support group

I had to take the lovenox shots for 2 weeks postop, not to mention they gave me some in the hospital.

Well, I got stomach shots in the hospital for blood clots and I am just walking and monitoring my breathing and body regularly.
