1St Dr Visti Since Surgery

My Doctor said that I was not healing and I need to bump up my protein. He said if I dont things could bad. I didnt want to know what that could be. But now I wish I would have asked him. However I will increase my protein. I really was not getting the mininium in.

how far out are you?

What did he mean by "not healing?" Did he take an x-ray or a different test? Would like to know if you don't mind.

Im 8 days post op. He looked at my stomach and that was when he said it.

I know you need protein for healing. I think if you do not get enough protein, you would be at increased risk of infection.

I bet that is it cause where the big wound is its a little red around it

Keep an eye on it. If it gets ANY redder, give your doc a call. Better safe than sorry!
