Liza. I am on the two meal replacement diet, and I cheated too!!! Almost everyone I have spoken to has cheated! I am at my moms, and she's in the kitchen cooking bacon and homemade muffins! I want some so bad but I'm not going to do it! I may have an egg though, and skip my cottage cheese and fruit! Its harder than I thought!!! And I thought I was really prepared and psyched up to do this! Its hard to change over night ya know! Don't beat yourself up, just start over and keep on going! Won't be long now!! My surgery is July 10th! So ready!!!

Hello Laura, I am on day 3 pre op and I have not cheated yet. It has been rough. I started drinking a protein shake for breakfast only about a week before my pre op actually started in hopes that things would be easier (wrong). I will survive!!! Good luck to you, I get sleeved on July 9th.

Are you finding that the protein shakes are watery?

Are you finding that the Protein shakes are watery?

I got my shakes from my doc.it was 30 for powder that lasts two weeks and u mix it with Water.it does taste watery though i guess for that fact im using water.i would have preferred the shakes made already

I'm on day 4 of the liquid diet. 4-5 meal replacement shakes/day. and 64 oz of water, broth or jello. It's hard! And I've been sluggish. Hoping it gets better and that I feel better. Very low energy.

i'm using Bariatric Advantage, and doctor said I could mix it with skim milk or FF soy milk. It helps!

I was on 3 shakes a day and sf Jello or popsicles and I did not cheat. Use the time wisely to keep busy, clean out your closets, prepare for surgery, up your Water intake, take walks. Day 3 & 4 were hard. If you used to be a pop or coffee drinker, many of your issues may be caffeine withdrawal.

If you cheat you are only cheating yourself and since you are going into such a major life-altering surgery try finishing this time out giving 100% dedication.

It's not easy, but nobody said it would be. Have faith in yourself that you can do it and go into this the best you can. If you cheat, dust it off and then realize you need to put in 100% effort.

You can do it.

Thanks ladies! I know what you mean MinaT, I gotta get it together! Have to keep my head in the game! Saying goodbye to Diet Coke has been hard!! I have to do better sipping water throughout the day!! I get busy with the kids and then I am suddenly very thirsty and then I gulp water! BAD BAD BAD! Lawd help me!

I feel you, girl!! I'm on day four. Yesterday was HELLIFIC! I was so hungry last night! But just think of how AMAZING you're going to feel about yourself when you get through it!! You're doing a great job - no more cheats :-) PM me if you need encouragement.
