Hi! I had my gastric sleeve surgery on Tuesday. It is now Friday and I am done with the nausea (thank goodness). I had a typical stay in the hospital (surgery on Tuesday, home on Thursday). My only compliant is that the right side of my abdomen is very sore. Is that common? I've heard all the scary stories of hernias and such. Any opinions?

looks like recovery has been a breeze too

yes, there are some sad stories about a few situations that have happened to some people, but by reading this board you will see all the wonderful success stories

From what I've read sometimes it can be because they took the stomach out on that side so it can be a little more sore, but I'd touch base with your doc to be sure.
