Post Op 1 Day

I can't believe how much pain I was in and I'd rather have the pain than nausea. This is bad and on top of that I urinating every 30 min. I am barely holding down pain meds. God I pray this does not last. My incision feel better but i have a low grade fever. I just had an ounce of new whey protein. Any one Else use new whey protein. I can't believe some people feel great afterwards. My sister had a hernia repair and is totally relaxed. It's only 1 day post op and I feel regrets. What am I going to do?

I don't want to discourage anyone just want to know if others have gone through this and things turned around. Sorry just this forum gives me encouragement at times. Maybe you will be right 1 to 2 weeks. I was hoping because I am 22 tht I would jumped back up on my feet. I've had 2 open heart surgery and that I breezed through but this is much harder for some reason. I pray you make the best decision for yourself. :)

Well, I said I wasn't worried about anything, but getting nervous about the pain! I have my surgery on July 10th! I have to take pain meds already for my Lupis and I am worried about how they are going to control my pain, and how I am going to be able to keep the pain meds down because I take so much!!! Officially nervous! Sleevertobe, I sure hope you are feeling better soon!!! Take care girl! Prayers and well wishes coming your way! On a brighter note, You're a LOSER!!! woo hoo congrats!! Oh and P.S., you need to change your screen name now!!

True! Well July 10th will be here before you know it! I know you will be ready :)

how do you change your screen name? Just take it one day at a time and you will be fine! But thats easy for me to say at this point.

I am in the same boat with you. I am 24 and I thought I would bounce back but boy was I wrong. I had surgery on 6/6/12 and Ive been in the hosp 3 times since. I had problems with nausea, pain,I wasnt able to urine for 2 days and I had to get my gallbladder removed on the 27th. 2 surgeries in one month has put a toll on me but im trying to stay optimistic. Hope u have a speedy recovery.
