I waited three months, but others have had success sooner. Did your doc give you any guidelines on food? If so, you should follow that advice. If not, I'd wait until you can tolerate most foods since salad typically has a lot of fiber in it and it could be tough for your sleeve to handle for a bit. Just like anything else, start very slowly until you know that your sleeve can handle it. :)

I was told at 6 weeks I could add salad. Chew chew chew and just a little salad. Mostly protein

Thanks ladies! Yes my nutri did provide me with guidelines. How soon are you able to take your Vitamin supplements? I have NO energy.

I started mine after a week.

My surgeon discharged me from the hospital with instructions to start my chewable vitamin that night, and to take 2/day. No other supplements (other than liquid Zantac and Actigall) until after my first follow-up appointment (3 weeks post-op). I've not had any problems with the vitamin...Flintstones Complete.
