What happens if I'm a total screw up and eat something 2 days before surgery?! I know I shouldn't have but I worked 14 hours today and was totally ravenous. Do you think I can still have surgery Wednesday? So disappointed in myself!

id call my surgeon and let them know. im not sure it would affect the surgery or not. dont beat yourself up we are all just human

Call your doctor..... but from what I've read and working a medical field, one thing won't kill, especially 2 days before surgery, they are just trying to get the liver smaller... biggest concern is 12 - 24 hours before surgery, your body needs enough time for it not to be in your stomach when they operate. so don't beat yourself up, just call your doctor and hold fast for 2 days! good luck!
