Can we eat applesauce if it's unsweetened right after surgery

I was only allowed fluids for the first 2 weeks then mushy soft foods after that,depends on the surgeon

Unsweetened applesauce was not on my diet list until second week too.

all depends on your doc. I was told anything that is watery enough to go thru a straw you can have. I added water to it.
