Is Anyone Else Hungry?

Everyone I have spoken to who is 9 days post surgery say they haven't been hungry. I do get hungry and am wondering if this is something bad. I have protein shakes like they say and am drinking plenty of water, but I still get hungry. Has anyone else started with soups or other soft foods this early?

Are you sure it's not head hunger? I am 15 days post op and RARELY am hungry for real. I have probably been gurgly tummy hungry like 3 times.

Head hunger and possibly acid in the swollen reduced capacity stomach. First try a PPI like Nexium or Prilosec. Ask the doc.
