Calm down...... It took me a week to get back to my pre-op weight!! You gain weight in the hospital between the IV fluids, gases used during the operation , etc..... What you are experiencing is NORM

There are any of a number of reasons to be worried, but this isn't one of them. Your body has just gone through truama. Allow it to recover. If you follow the plan and stay on the diet, you'll lose. Just relax. It doesn't happen overnight. You will get there.

Thanks. I knew I was freaking out for no reason. Makes me feel better that it is normal. Of course it doesn't help that my hubby (we had surgery the same day) has lost 10 since surgery. Lol you guys made me feel better. Thank you!

Barrbdoll is right. I walked out of the hospital 10 pounds heavier. Give it time. I know I expected it to just fall off after surgery. It was like I went through all of this and only this much. It's a journey. Take time and actually enjoy it. It's all new experiences and feelings. Happy moments of little victories. Congrats on being sleeved. :-)

I didnt lose anything the first week either. the second week makes up for it. dont worry! it will get better! :)
