Does Anyone Know *why* Ba Vitamins...

...Make people get so nauseated? There must be a scientific reason for such a rapid response of nausea right after chewing them up. I have been Googling looking for some sort of answer, and many people have the same reaction, but no one seems to be wondering why. Seems strange to me. Anyone have answers????

I don't take ba vita. I use the regular form but make sure they are small capsules or caplets. I'm 7.5 post op and have no complications from vitamin deficiency. When early out I used pudding or yogurt to help slide them down.

I take two of the flintstones chewable vitamins. They taste good and the bariatric center gave a list of vitamin supplements and flintstones chewables are one of the suggested choices. If you take children's they prescribe 2 of them.

I think most (if not all) supplements can cause nausea from time to time. If I try to take my meds on an empty stomach, my calcium pills make me very nauseous. I've actually vomited them up once.

I thought it was just me. I take the bariatric advantage multis and have gotten sick after taking them twice. I am trying to find the best time to take them .... sticking with them because they have B Complex in them AND the biotin level is amazing.

Would like to know the answer as well.

Thanks for the replies. I think there has to be a reason related to one of the ingredients in the vitamin- especially BA vitamins because so many people have a similar reaction to them. I am almost afraid to try to take them again.
