Day 4 Post Op

Obviously I am not going to be the person who is doing a 5k a week out but I did finally keep some injury chicken broth down, took a walk and piddled in the kitchen and for me - now I am exhausted! No matter the person, our recovery will vary so remember to keep your sights on what your recovery is not what it is not!

Everyone is different for sure. I had my surgery on Monday too & I'm feeling great. I'm still in no way ready to go out and tackle errands or anything like that, but I'm feeling much better than I thought I would be at this point. It takes me all day, but I'm getting in my Protein. I had 53 grams yesterday & will probably hit the goal of 70 grams today or tomorrow. Each day out from surgery gets better & I'm off my diabetes meds already & my blood sugars are great! This is the best thing I've ever done for myself!!

Everyone is different & you just have to give your body time to heal & listen to it, but be confident that eventually you'll get all your energy back plus more as you lose more weight! Just relax & give it time.
