Pain Meds

I am 7 weeks out and have a hard job at work this week and my back has been hurting what type on pian med can i take ? What about for a head ache?

    My doc said no NSAIDS; so that only leaves Tylenol. Yours may be different though.

    my doc gives the same rules as Benisa's - no NSAIDs. Any Tylenol product is okay. Mine did say I could have an occasional ibuprofen after the first 3 months if necessary, but the general rule is no NSAIDs. I'd suggest calling your surgeon to see what they say about it. My surgeon also said there are some NSAIDs that aren't quite as harmful to the stomach as ibuprofen that could be prescribed depending on the issue. You really need to see what your doctor says is okay at this stage in your recovery.
