Insurance Denied Me

I'm in the high 200s with a BMI at 50. Ins denied me. Dr's office is appealing. They said to hang tight. It will be okay.

Do you have to have a heart attack first???

that is terrible. I hope that the appeal is approved!!!

I was initally denied as well, it's part of the game depending on your insurance. When the doctor sent an appeal letter less than thirty days later I was approved. It will happen for you, you have to keep pushing the insurance gods until they argee with you.

My denial at BCBS-IL was reversed after submitting additional documentation an having the surgeon talk to the insurance company, without even submitting an appeal. A lot of people seem to get an initial denial and come out with approvals.
