How Long After Surgery Before You Felt Good?

I am curious how many days it took for you to feel pretty good after surgery? By that I mean up for a short drive or quick trip to the store...

      I was claiming to be having a heart attack in recovery too! I'm embarrassed to think of it now. I also felt like I was going to puke and kept complaining about that in recovery too until they doubled

    I'm 6 days out and 59 yrs young. I'm feeling great but still don't have the energy to clean out closets, etc. :-)

    Yeah, lack of energy is my biggest problem. I went for a walk this morning and got half way around the block and had to turn around...... but that's farther than I've gotten before LOL I'm hoping more energy will come back when I can eat solid food.
