My leaky band was unfilled as I wait for insurance approval for revisional surgery to sleeve. Now for some reason I can't get full and I stay hungery. Is it psychological because I know I was unfilled? Or is it just stress eating due to being anxious? I know the band still gives me some restriction without the Fluid, but it is like I felt before I got the band in 2008. I was unfilled on April 18. Insurance company received my doc's request for revision on May 1. I am not a patient person.

I am in the same boat. All the way unfolded. Waiting on this last thing to submit to the insurance company. Did you have to get another psych evaluation?

I will need a two week liquid diet and they asked what medications I am taking, but have not been told anything else as of now. I have jumped thru so many hoops in the past, I won't be surprised if they add to the "to do" list.

When they took the Fluid out of my band. I could eat more and was hungrier. I think it's only natural we can eat more without as much restriction.

I just tried to eat healthy as possible.

My band isn't even completely unfilled, and I feel like I starving all of the time. They took out .5cc about a month ago. I have gained about 5 pounds since then. I am not sure when I will be unfilled, if at all... Just got word of approval for revision, but haven't gotten the official letter so I can't schedule yet...

I had all of my saline taken out in mid December. I gained 30lbs before my sleeve on March 28th. The head hunger is what killed me and still is. Its like I eat cause I can vs because I'm actually hungry. Food is my addiction. Ugh....
