Can anyone tell me when do you stop having this painful gas? I'm one week postop and I still have to get up and walk to get rid of the gas even if I swallow a small sip of water.

I'm 4 days post-op. I constantly sip, burp, sip, burp... repeat. It's not painful but I'm also wondering if I'll be burping like this forever!!

I had gas real bad the first couple of wks. I am a month out and only get it occasionally. It does get better. Goodluck

Ask your dr. first but I know somewhere they suggested getting mylicon drops (like you give to babies).
