I had a horrible chest cold/bronchitis 2 weeks before surgery and was on an antibiotic when I was operated on. My doc told me that I would be fine through surgery and it wasn't postponed. Everything went well. If you start to feel like you are coming down with a cold call your surgeon immediately so they can possibly put you on something so that the surgery doesn't have to be postponed. Good luck!

Half my household just came down with a cold...3 out of 6 sick...oh boy....I am taking vitamin C and staying away from them....
