Sosmething Is Wrong And I Need Opinions

I am 9 days post op and I have been feeling great. No problem drinking getting my liquids and Protein then yesterday I started having a hard time drinking Fluid. I felt a sick to my stomach and bloated and had to force myself to drink. Last night I felt such a exits I couldn't get to sleep. I woke up this morning and I still don't fell like I can drink and I fell really shaky. I have never had depression or anexiety issues. I also did not have any comorbities like diabetes or high blood pressure. But I do fell weak and dizzy today almost like my sugar is low or something.

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice that could help I'm never sick and feel like I'm going crazy.

  • Even if you have to call the doctor for advice, do it, because in a couple more days you will end up in the E.R. with an i.v. You can dehydrate VERY quickly at this stage.

  • Your sugar may very well be low. I agree with Dooter; this is a great time to call your doctor to rule out problems.

  • I second calling your doctor to get some advice. I'm going through something very similar right now with weakness and dizziness. My doc actually told me to eat more sugar as I'm not getting in enoug

Try POP CYCLE,,,,,this will help your sugar...restriction is strange can vary from day to day. Some days I can drink like crazy others I feel the sipping restriction take hold...call your Dr. if you feel something is wrong.

Agreed with all above, please call your Dr. Likely it is low blood sugar too, so in the mean time drink about 8 Oz of G2 - see how that helps.

I'm 9 days out and am having similar problems. After one bad day of not being able to get enough fluid, protein and/or calories I felt like YUK. After seeing my dr. yesterday, he recommended I go in to get a liter of IV fluids transfused and I'm doing that this a.m. I really pushed yesterday and took in more calories and fluids by way of apple juice & broth and that has made me feel better. Still weak, tho. Good luck.

LOVE G2. Saved my bacon that first week with Clear Liquids. I like the little powder packs. Tastes better somehow. I even dilute it more than it says.

Thanks for all the help I talked to my dr. Office and they gave me similar advice. I am now worried about a blockage in my stomach I feel stuffed compared to normally feeling satisfied and I am burping up tons of air almost like my stomach is trying to digest but it's not going down. I feel stuff up to my esophagus. I almost wish I could just throw up to feel better.
