Week 3 Stall....now What?

I was hoping the 3 week stall might bypass me, but no such luck! My weight has been going up and down the same .4 lbs for several days. Its very frustrating because I am only 5 lbs from "onederland" and I want to get there so desperately. Any tips on how to break the stall? I am down 16 lbs since surgery and 22 since pre-op diet. Please help before I pull out my already thinning hair! :)

I finally broke my week 3 stall a couple days ago. I knew that I wasn't getting in enough calories, protein, etc. so I upped my calorie and protein intake for 2 days in a row and (BAM!) I dropped 3 lb

  • We all go through it. I used to dread them, but now I know that even though the scale isn't showing it, I am losing inches. I have received a lot of my compliments during the times I have had stalls

I finally broke my week 3 stall a couple days ago. I knew that I wasn't getting in enough calories, protein, etc. so I upped my calorie and protein intake for 2 days in a row and (BAM!) I dropped 3 lbs this week so far. I know that I shouldn't weigh everyday but if I had that much will power I wouldn't have needed this surgery! LOL! :)

I am so glad that I read this message. I am currently going thru the "3 week stall". I was so scared that I was doing something wrong! *Whew* what a relief! I lost 35lbs pre op. I had my surgery on 3/5/12. I have lost 15lbs post op, but hadn't lost any for the last 2 weeks.

We all go through it. I used to dread them, but now I know that even though the scale isn't showing it, I am losing inches. I have received a lot of my compliments during the times I have had stalls. Just know that it is normal and for some reason our body has to catch up. You'll be dropping again on the scale real soon. :)

Yep...don't weight yourself...stay on the healthy foods and keep the fluids going. You'll read that many people like myself during the stall lost INCHES from stomach and waist areas...with no weightloss during the stall
