Hi,

I am going in for my scope tomorrow. I am not nervous, my doctor has not told me anything except don't eat or drink after midnight. Does anyone know how long it will last? Does my husband have to stay up there with me? Can I go to work afterwards? Thanks for all the info!!!!!!

Simply tired of fat!!!

I did mine yesterday. I was there a total of 2 hours. The actual test they said was 5 mins. So unless there are running behind I'd say have your husband wait there.

I was there 2 hrs. Yes hubby should go. You don't feel a thing. And probably can't go back to with you feel "lazy" all day cuz of the anesthesia. So after procedure wait an hour have some soup and take a nice long nap.

How did it go?

It was fine. Although, I heard the anesthesiologist say that I stopped breathing during the procedure. When I came to and asked about that, they told me that is common with obese people. I actually woke up with a headache and had one for the next 3 days for some reason. I go in tommorrow to met the doc. I will have a surgery date when I get done. I am really excited.
