Clear Liquid Confusion?

I am 3 days post op and I am supposed to be on clear liquid diet for days 1-7. My doctors instructions are that I need to drink 48oz. of fluid and 40g of protein. It also states I am to use 1-2 approved protein supplements. Just trying to figure out if I should make a Jay Robb Whey protein shake and does it qualify as a clear liquid? It also says I can have skim milk or soy milk. I just don't think of those items as "clear" liquids. Any help appreciated !

I had my surgery in Tijuana on a Monday and I flew back to Iowa on Friday. I did not have any protein shakes or milk products until I got back home. All I had while in Mexico was water, gatorade, popsicle, jello, and chicken broth.

Sounds like they want you on clears EXCEPT for milk/protein shakes. There are very few clear shakes out there (Isopure is the only one I know of).

I am on clear liquids with the exception of protein shakes made with water. I purchased protein shakes from my docs office which included Chike shakes.
