I Am Hungry

Had my sleeve 4 days ago. Everything went well and I have had no problems so far, except I am hungry. What's up with that? Also I have no problems getting down 4 oz of liquid. Shouldn't I have some difficulty getting down the liquids?

Nah...I was taking in liquid pretty well at 4 days. I'd hazard a guess that you're hungry 'cause you can't eat! heehee... That will get better when you can have some protein shakes and cream soups and such. With each stage that gnawing hunger will lessen. It's a process.

I STARTED SECOND GUESSING IF I HAD EVEN HAD SURGERY BECAUSE LIQUID WENT DOWN AND STAYED DOWN SO EASILY. I actually got mad and disappointed because I was not experiencing the symptoms I had read about when I was educating myself. Now I am trying to realize that I am lucky to not have such terrible side effects. We just need to make sure we are choosing the right liquids since we are so fortunate.

Oh yeah, I had no trouble with getting 3 oz in the beginning stages of the pureed diet and had no problem getting 3 oz of protein during the solid food stage. Actually meat is harder for me to digest than breads and cereals.......so weird!
