How Soon After Vg Did You Go Back To Work?

Today is exactly 4 weeks since my surgery. I was planning on going back to work yesterday but still dont feel well enough. How long were you off from work after surgery? Was it hard to go back and keep on track with eating every few hours and drinking water constantly? Thanks everyone!

I'm lucky enough to have a desk job and bosses that don't expect me to come in at full speed. I will be able to work shorter days anytime I need to. Everybody's story is different so it's great just to support each other for we have given up a lot to be where we are today.

I'm learning slowly but surely not to compare myself and my journey to others. If I do that I'm not being fair to myself.

I was out six days. I worked for a week and then had a week of scheduled vacation time (I'm an educator and that week was our last week of summer). Going back to work helped me a lot because I was able to focus on something other than myself.

That's a great way to get the time off you need. I'm a high school librarian so not much physical work. We make it work for us because we have to.

I went to work 1 week after surgery which was yesterday, I do have a desk job though! I start nursing school up again on Monday with clinical a beginning next Tuesday (8/30) I hope it goes well!

Thanks. So fat so good. I dropped two pant sizes in 8 days and I feel great. I hope you are also doing well and enjoying the benefits of this new life we have.
