New - Have A Surgery Date

Hi, I am new here, but I have been reading the site for several months now. I finally have my surgery date. I will be sleeved on April 16. I have my pre-op appointment on March 29 and my EGD scope on April 6. I am so excited that I finally have a date. I have to do one week of the liquid diet before surgery, but I decided to start a semi-liquid diet today to get geared up. I want to give my system a bit of time to make that adjustment after reading some of your stories about this switch. I am hoping that will make it easier on my system. I don't have much in the way of sugar cravings any longer and I really don't do much in the way of eating off track. I just remind myself that it will just be more to take off after my sleeve if I eat it now. So far, so good. I just keep reminding myself of my goals. All of you are such an inspiration to me. Thanks for all your postings. They really do help keep me going.
