Protein Shake Question

Hi there,

My surgery is scheduled for February 23 and I am trying out different Protein shakes. I was wondering are you mixing the protein with Water or skim milk? I really like the chocolate flavored with skim milk, but the milk of course adds extra calories. Are you mixing it with water? I tried mixing a few of the fruity flavors with water and I didn't care for it at all. The chocolate flavor with the milk seems much more satisfying. Just curious as I see a lot of talk about Protein Shakes but curious what liquid you are mixing them with!!!

Thank you!

I mix mine with soy milk or yogurt, they both were allowed on my pre op diet.

I do RTD Premier protein shakes in chocolate. I LOVE them. They taste just like chocolate with no after taste.

I've been doing the already shakes from Muscle Milk to the Pure Protein cans you find at Walmart. Just remember to get one with 20-30 grams of protein per surving and with close to ZERO sugar
