Pain... For How Long?

I know everyone is different, bit how long did you all have pain post op? I'm 16 days out and am just now noticing a tender area around my belly button. It's not excruciating pain at all, just enough to notice. I'm not sure if I'm just now noticing it because I'm off my pain meds. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure! I had my surgery exactly one week ago and I didn't have any pain at all but now I am noticing a bit more soreness on my largest incision (where the stomach was removed). As you said, nothing excruciating but it is sore. It could be because I've been trying to sleep on my side lately.

I stopped taking the pain meds when I got home, 4 days after the surgery. I had no pain until about a week or two later and it was near the big incision. It was just a soreness that went away after about a week.

thats what im going thru right now.. im just over 2 weeks post op.. and i am actually having some major pains at the large incision or near my staple line.. its actually pretty excruciating when i move or lean to one side it almost feels like im ripping my staples.. i don't know if its because i fell day before xmas or what.. but i was really starting to worry..but im almost thinking now its just we are feeling more because our body isnt concentrating on all the other little incisions.
