When To Begin Exercise?

Just wondering how long after surgery everyone got back to exercise? Did you start out by just walking? I know exercise is going to be a key. I want to make sure I'm fully healed before I start back on weight training but hope to get to the gym next week to begin walking on the track. (I was just sleeved on 12/19)

I asked that question to my PA on Wednesday during my final pre-op visit. She told me "on average" 2 weeks before you can hit a Zumba/cardio class and 4 weeks before you can hit the weights. I guess thats if everything is healing well.

i think it depends on how your body is doing.. everyone is different.. im only a week and a half out i did zumba yesterday with no problems. i haven't been running or anythig, but doing light weights and walking as much as i can
