I'm doing great Megs! Welcome Alisha! We have a great group of Okie's......Megs' date=' I finally found a Protein drink I can drink. I was so excited. I have spent a ton of money trying to find something. I tried the Premier Protein from Sam's and to me, it just tastes like chocolate milk. I was scared to death that I would be bald headed in about 4 months because of not getting my protein. Hope things are going good with everyone!![/quote']

Oh honey... You have not even started loosing hair yet. It's ridiculous and annoying. It doesn't matter if you get all of your protein in or not... It's gonna go. Get and start taking bioten now and maybe it will not be as bad

Well pooh!! I have already lost a ton because of my thyroid. It makes me nervous as heck to think about loosing more. I have heard conflicting reviews on the bioten. Do you really thinks it helps?

On the premier protein you might check amazon too you can get it as an add on item for I think takes a while to ship but I think it comes out a little cheaper if you buy ahead for later on... I have been getting samples of different things to try to find what I think will work for me haven't tried those yet.... I'm pre op and it looks like I'm gonna be on the list for late may/ early June

Thanks, sheetmetalgirl! I will check it out. May and June will be here before you know it. Hang in there and good luck to you!

Thank you! Some days I feel like its dragging and others I feel like it's flying by. I believe I am making the right decision and I hope I find it to be true.

Lisa at Dr Kirks office told me to start taking it. I was already doing that so she was ok with it.

Thanks Megs! I will be getting some. It sure can't hurt......

Hello all!

I live in okc. 27 F. heaviest weight 329 lbs' date=' surgery weight 282 lbs. Was sleeved this morning (10/23/12) with Dr. Broussard in Edmond. Love the entire program, surgeon, etc. So happy I did it & it's finally over with. Best decision I've made for myself-maybe ever. Good luck to all & I'll be happy to answer any questions.

Also...since we are all in OK area....I'd love to have a clothes trade or sell etc as we are all starting at different sizes. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks! Take care.

I am using Broussard also in a couple months

Hey, oklafarmgal, just checking in to see how things are going:)

Hi Kimmy! Everything is great. I've lost about 32 pounds. Recovery was fairly easy. It's been 4 weeks now and I feel great. How are you doing?

Kimmy, you haven't had your surgery yet, have you?

God to hear things are going well

Great job!! No, I haven't had mine yet. I'm still doing my 6 month supervised diet that's required by my insurance. I've had some of my testing done already...I do my sleep study Friday. I get more excited and more anxious every day:)

Good luck with everything, Kimmy. The sleep study is NOT fun, but tolerable. You will just go home and go to sleep. Your six months will be up before you know it. Hang in there..... :)

I liked the 2nd night of the sleep study... When they put the mask on. I had never slept so good
