Abnormal Blood Work = Another Dr's Appt :(

GRRRR! I got a letter in the mail today from the bariatric folks saying due to some abnormal lab results, i have to see my pcp before things can move forward. the nurse circled my LDL of 118 (which is "near optimal") and sodium which is 133 (normal is 136-145). Seriously?! This is so very upsetting :(

Don't be sad I started this journey 10/2010 and it has been one hoop after anorther. I thought I was finally there but long hold the blood test was fine but the urine was abnormal. Going Monday to repeat and find out if this is a problem for my surgery.

So Hang on in there it always looks worst before it gets better and it will get better

Thanks, Lilo. It turns out that all I really have to do is get my PCP to say that there's "nothing alarming" in my bloodwork that would prevent me from getting the surgery. Still waiting on the word from her, but the staff at the bariatric center is being really helpful and advocating for me. Hopefully it will work out soon--thanks again for the positive thoughts! :)
