I Really Thinknim Gonna Die !

I was sleeved thursday. It's now Saturday. I'm sore as hell and have horrible gas that won't rest even with walking. Does this ever go away? I feel miserable and wished I would have not done it now. How soon should I feel relief? hELp!!!

be encouraged we all have had the feeling and yes it will pass. anti- acids TUMS were my best friend at the time... really help relieve the pain FAST... Pretty much every pain you feel in your neck, back, chest or side will be gas related in the first few weeks... (TUMS will help!!!!)

First off your NOT going to die (eventually but not now) secondly have you tried GasX strips? Keep walking and use hot compresses on the painful areas. If that doesn't work, go to the doctor. Good luck and yes, it does go away eventually. Was this your very first ever surgery? Gas is the most horrible pain there is. . . but be reassured it does go away . . .

It gets better. My gas was severe too. It was a major lactose intolerance. I'm not happy about that because dairy is an easy source of protien. Don't live with the pain. Call the dr. just in case.
