Hey everyone! I've been posting on these forums for a few weeks now, and I just want to thank everyone for being so supportive and for answering so many questions from a sleeve newbie. I had so many reservations about this surgery as a "lower" BMI patient, especially having struggled with diets my whole life, and believing that maybe one more diet would be the magic answer. HOWEVER, I am proud to announce that I have solidified my surgery date today! I will be getting sleeved on December 13th in TJ by Dr. Pompa at the LIMARP surgical centre. I am SO excited, but nervous as well. I am very scared of the actual surgery, as I have never had anything done, ever! I just want it to be done, for the pain to be over and to be on the other side! good luck on your journey! I just got back from TJ and saw the "towers" that you'll be staying at. I also considered Dr.Pompa and did tons of research on her. You are in good hands....especially if you're going with wlf. They're a really good support to have.
