Monday's the day!

If you asked me a few weeks ago if I was nervous I would have said YES. So why now, less than 48 hours until surgery, am I mellow? Of course I don't want to die or have any complications, but I am so relaxed it's creepy. My biggest concern seems to be if I should take a book or magazines. I'm staying 2 nights. Hubby took time off work and freezer is packed. I already bought my "food", got my meds ready and did laundry. Maybe I'm just ready? Knowing me I'll probably get super nervous the morning of,lol! Either way, I thought I'd be more emotional.

You are blessed, go with it! LOL!

Mine is 3 wks from Monday and I only get nervous if I think about the actual operation. So I try not to think about that part, just the before and after. It's probably not healthy but it's working so far! I hope Dr. Aceves will give me some calming meds the night before surgery and enough for the next morning too.

Thanks! I was really nervous a few weeks back, but the closer I get to surgery the more calm I get. Dang, only if I could apply that to other areas of my life, lol!

Hope it all goes well!
