9 Weeks Post Op

I am 9 weeks post op and went to my endocrinologist office yesterday - based on my bloodwork - my hypothyroidism is gone and my insulin levels are normal. I was right on the edge of being Type 2 Diabetic.

Although I have only lost around 40 pounds, I am loosing more inches then anything -- I am going to have to go pants and bra shopping this weekend.

My advice - stay off the scale its going to drive you crazy.

I just wanted to announce that this surgery is successful based on my thyroid and insulin levels bouncing back to normal.

Congrats!!! 40lbs is great!

Congrats! How great that your numbers healthwise are much improved. Also the 40lbs is awesome as well. I can relate to losing more inches than actually pounds. Keep up the good work.
