Just had to share my excitment about receiving my insurance approval today! I have been reading everyones posts and can't wait to be on the "loser's bench" with you all. Keep the positive/ encouraging posts coming, it really helps those of us who are still on our journey to becoming new and improved. I still need an upper GI and lab work then on to schedule my surgery date. Bummed that it won't be till October since that is the first open spot, but I know it will be worth the wait!!!

i just went to my upper gi follow up today!

i have a 6 month supervised diet. today was my 2nd nutritionist appt so i have 4 more to go!! ive done everything so far:

•bloodwork

•upper gi

•psych eval

•sleep study

i just need to do my cardiologist visit but thats not until the 4th month. i cant wait to get it all over with!

Congrats! That was the biggest hoop to jump through! It's all downhill from here!
