Food Journal

Is there a good electronic food journal that you can get that automatically calculates calories and or carbs? What journals are you all using and do you have to manually enter the nutritional information? I know there are websites that you can enter a food and it list the calories, carbs, sugars and other nutitional facts. I am trying to find a good journal and curious what everyone is using.

Thanks.

I am using myfitnesspal.com You plug in the food whether its a name brand or supermarket brand and 99% of the time, it is in the database. It calculates calories, Protein, carbs & fat. I track my exercise also. You can add to the database if you come across a food that is not in there and you can add actual recipes. I love it. I track on my ipad, iphone and my Mac!

I am a big fan of Spark People. I stopped tracking for awhile but I am going back to using it soon. It would be a good idea to have something electronic to keep record I can show my nutritionist.

I use the myfitnesspal app on my phone! I HIGHLY recommend it! I only had to add one thing...my isopure protein water, everything else has been there!

I love fatsecret.com as well- I use it on computer, phone, and iPad! I also use sparkpeople to compute the nutritional value of recipes.
