Do You Ever Feel Silly??

Today at work the "big boss lady", Gretchen, came in to do her quarterly audit. She knows all about me having the sugery and was super supportive.

The last time I saw Gretchen was probably about a month or two ago. When she saw me she said, "You keep shrinking! How much have you lost now?" Normally I would be proud to say 119 lbs, but for some reason I felt silly this time! Your thoughts??

I do because I have always been secretive about how much i weighed...especially being so close to 350lb...and i have lost almost 70 lbs but I am still huge. Ppl noticed that I have lost weight but i feel like if i tell people i have lost 60 something lbs they will be like really where

what's wrong with "silly"? Silly is good. In fact, silly is wonderful! Think about all of the other emotions that you could be feeling. Silly is not so bad afterall, is it?:humble:

Hey 119 pounds CONGRATS!!! That is AWESOME!!!

I totally understand and feel the exact same way as you. I thought part of my feelings is being imbarrased that I let myself get over 300 lbs, and when people ask how much I have lost, I do not want to tell them because obviously I have much more to lose, I dont want them to know how much I weighted to begin with... To me your feelings are not silly one bit, they are justified, you have earned the right to share or chose not to share any of your personal business. (But thanks for sharing with us, that is so awesome to see big number loss like that!!!)
