2 wk Pre-Op Diet questions

So I'm doing the 2wk pre op diet .. that is not the "only liquid" diet... but rather just low in fat and no meats. .,. this is what my Dr said.

My typical day is:

Breakfast - Cheerios w/skim milk, 1 apple

Mid-morning - Protein shake

lunch - salad loaded with veggies and fat-free Thousand Island dressing, some kinda fruit

Mid-Day - Protein Shake

dinner - same as lunch, or sometimes I'll do steamed veggies.

Evening snack - reduced fat Rtiz Crackers, with Fat free cream cheese

I am also drinking about about 72oz of Water a day.

The problem - i am getting sick of salad :( What else can I eat... HELP!

during my pre-op diet I was only able to have protein shakes, broth and vegetables....my nutritionist told me if I was extremely hungry I could have a hard boiled egg
