Home again Finnegan!

I got home earlier today after being sleeved by Dr. Kemmerling @ Aurora Bay Care Medical Center.

I have nothing but positives to say about the whole experience. (Well maybe not about the IV's as my arms look like purple pincushions atm laugh.gif) The Pre-op stuff was smooth sailing all except for the difficulty getting IV's they eventually got one that they knew wouldn't stay but was good enough to send me off to sleep. I also got a massage while waiting for my OR time slot which was pretty awesome, and very helpful to help me relax. I don't remember too much from recovery other than I kept forgetting to breathe so someone was right there in my face telling me to breathe for I don't know how long. I was kind of paniced. and ouchie but someone was always there helping me. I slept essentially all of the first 24 hours. The nurses were great. NOthing but positive reviews for the hospital and staff. Even the dietary aide was awesome, very encouraging and congratulating me on making such a hard decision to have this surgery.. The Resp. Therapists too were very encouraging.

Anyway I'm home, I can get down about 6oz of an 8oz Protein drink right now, drinking Water alright too.
