So when I was in the hospital I gained 15 lbs! Probably from the 4 days of fluids. Anyone else gain that much in the hospital- I was totally surprised by that. When I think of my weight loss since surgery which is an additional 10lbs- should I count the 15 lbs and think 25lbs? I think that doesn't count and only tell myself 10lbs. What do you think?

I gained 12 from the surgery. I don't count it as weight I re-lost. I figure it was from the gas & IV & swelling from surgery, and not from fat. Congrats on your weightloss!

Pre-surgical weigh-in is what I counted. If I tried to count the fluid, swelling weight, I would have lost nearly 70lbs the first 30-45 days because I gained 30something pounds while hospitalized with my revision.
