Before and After pic 7 months out

Dear sleeve family!

I am so full of joy and happiness, and wanted to share. Just 7 months ago I could barely walk up the stairs of my own home, and now 7 months later I'm hiking the Grand Canyon...DID I JUST SAY THE GRAND CANYON???? LOL. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined a year ago I would be able to do this with MY torn up knees...GOD IS GOOD!!!!

Here is a picture of me the day after surgery (I was having what in the world did I do moment as you can tell from my expression) at 204.8, and the other picture was taken just this past Tuesday during my hike at the Grand Canyon at 155.

I'm SOOOO happy :) thanks for listening!!! And as always thanks for your support and love!!! YAHOOOOOOOO!

Thank you soooo much everyone! You are all sooo sweet!

My Big Day-I still eat carbs, it's really the sleeve tool that helps me with portion control, and for me I think that's been the key to my weight loss. I do try and get the protein in before carbs though. I'm sure if I did watch my carb in take, I would probably be doing way better :), but no complaints here, I HIKED THE GRAND CANYON (sorry I just can't believe it LOL). I am not consistent with exercise. I love hiking. I hiked a total of 9 miles since last Saturday and plan to do so more this Saturday. I did some swimming yesterday and today, and lots of walking shopping, so that's typically how I get my exercise in.

Becca-awww love ya too sweetie!!!

To all that said I look happy...I AM SOOOOO HAPPY!!!! I want to shout it from the mountain top :) LOL

Wow, you look sooo happy and healthy! And I LOVED hearing that your knees are feeling better!!!! I really look forward to that! Thanks for sharing all your great energy with us, and inspiring us with your accomplishments!!!

I know everyone has already said this, but I know I personally love hearing things like this, LOL, but you look so great, happy, and healthy! So awesome that you can hike the Grand Canyon. My brother and sister just got back from there.... wish I could have gone!!! Now go give yourself a big pat on the back :) :)

You look so great!!!!! Go girl B)

You look great! I also loved hearing that you had an "What have I done to myself" moment in the hospital! It is just what I needed to hear! Luckily with each passing day, that feeling is less and less. Congrats on your success!!

Wow! Congrats!

That's an amazing feat.
