Surgery on Thrusday

Good evening. I just came cross this website looking for support groups. I signed up today and think I made the best choice.

My scheduled sleeved date is on Thursday. I'm very nervous and excited. :embaressed_smile:

I wanted to know: Whats the worst and best part of week 1 Post-Op???

Yes, I heard the gas pain is pretty painful.

Worst: gas pain and nausea

Best: resting and being waited in by your family.

I just had surgery Monday and came home today. The worst was the nausea I had from anesthesia. The best, having it done, my children being there for me all the time, minimal discomfort, not gas pain. The acid reflux got pretty bad though. All in all, a very good experience. Doctor was great, nursing staff great, hospital great. I had my done by Michael Blaney in Augusta gA
