  9. Hi and welcome I am here at fort hood and was sleeved on March 24th i almost 2 1/2 months out. I am down 40 lbs so far. I had mine done at darnell and loved the care that i got at the hospital and with the drs. If you go on post i recommend the support groups i try to go to every one i can and they are so supportive .

  12. Hi My name is Miranda I have PCOS and had the surgery almost 8 weeks ago and i am down almost 30 lbs since preop.
  13. Hi I am not sure where you are about right now the wait list is very short i actually from start to surgery date was only 2 months and i loved the care i got and everyone was so great there. Wishing you all the best .

Nope i was scared so bad the last few days before surgery all the worries went thru my head I want you to know that i got great care at Darnel i was scared about that too having it at a army hospital. If you need anything or just want support my number is open. You are making a great choice and i love my sleeve now i am still learning to use it and i am now 4 weeks out.

Due to the fact that i was on vacation my half of my last week of regular foods i kinda went crazy thinking i am not going to be able to eat like this again lol but on the flip side i was also on the liquid diet half of vacation . If you need anything my inbox is always open and i will im you my phone number. Those days are so of the hardest but you will get thru it. Stock up on sugar free popsicles and sugar free jello those were my stables between the broths and the protein shakes. Drink lots of water. It may seem like liquids last forever but your date will be here before you know it

Hi I am 2 weeks out as of today and on sunday i was able to start soft foods i have had eggs and cheese, pinto beans and cheese, greek yogurt with carmel, and the inside of a baked potato with cheese. So far everything i have eat has settled just fine and i feel great do have moments of low energy but over all i feel great. I have been walking back and forth to the kids school and walking longer routes and loving it.
  18. I had the drain for 4 days and it was taken out at the dr office taking the stitch and glue hurt more than the actually drain coming out but i hated the drain i was always scared of pulling it out.

  20. Hey Glad to see you are doing good i am to went and got the drain tooken out today and i was so happy to have that out it was so hard sleeping with it in I feel great just a little sore and cann't bend over that great .
  21. hey got sleeved on march 24th was let out of the hospital on the 25th i been doing okay trying to get in my liquids sore and little uncomfortable but doing pretty good ready for the drain to come out on monday .
