Paronoid!

I had my VS surgery Jan. 28, 2011 my weight was at 268. Five days later it was at 255. I am now at 245. I must say that my experience in the hospital was like many of you all. Drinking for the first time was a rude awakeining. This is one I realized that something was different.

I have exercised and 1hr 3days out of the week and plan on increasing to 5 days. I must say that, being that Im 3 weeks since my surgery, I am a little paranoid about, if Im eating too much or did my staples come apart or if Im stretching my stomach, all the things I hear can happen AFTER I had my surgery. smh

This is why I joined this discussion group, to gain insight and share my journey.

As long as you follow your eating guidelines your staples are not going to come apart. At 2 weeks your chances for developing a leak decrease dramatically. Listen to your physical cues while eating slowly, you will feel when enough is enough.

I know what you mean! Im just 4 weeks out as of Thursday and feel since week 2 1/2 that I am eating too much-because Im hungry! Supporters in agroup I belong to on Facebook tell me to drink water (LOTS)and be sure to get in my protein shakes. That should help with hunger.
